Adriana

Adriana Cordero is a Peruvian visual artist based in southern Italy.

Her practice explores body, memory and vegetal forms through printmaking, monotype and works on paper. She is interested in the image as a sensitive archive and in matter as a space capable of holding trace, time and transformation.

She has lived and worked between Peru, Spain and Italy, territories that have expanded her perspective on landscape, migration and the body.

Her artistic journey began at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP). She later lived in Barcelona, where she completed a Master’s degree in Cultural Management, expanding her understanding of the contemporary art system. Later on, she trained in art therapy in Italy, deepening her exploration of the relationship between creation, body and process.
