When I was a child, my father used to work in Iquitos, a city in the heart of the Peruvian jungle.
From time to time, he would venture deep into the forest and, after finishing his day, treat himself to the wonders of that magical place.
He would return home full of excitement, sharing everything he had seen and experienced… and very often, butterflies were the stars of his stories.

This piece was created on a zinc plate using the drypoint technique, and is part of a limited edition of only 6 original prints.
Each print has been hand-pressed on Fabriano paper with Charbonnel ink, signed by the artist, numbered, and bears the atelier’s official seal.
